The presets are global and saved on your hard drive.
To save a preset, first click on the “Save Preset” button, the red LED lights up and then choose the bank and the preset you want, be careful with this action erases the selected preset for all instances of the plugin.
The frequency range module – The frequency range module functions as a “wet EQ”. It would pass wet signal at the determined frequency values only.
The LFO module – The modulation effect is based on 5 motion engines. It can create a constant vibration or a gated one, depended on the amount of the added effect. It can be synced to the host’s BPM or either played in manual speed.
The ping pong module – The pingpong module is panning effect based on 2 motion techniques: constant (“in motion” mode) and Immediate (“immediate” mode). It can be synced to the host’s BPM and create increased\decreased movement or immediate jump from one panning point to another.
The side-chaining module – The side-chaining module allows the ducking effect between the dry signal and the wet signal on frequency basis. Each of the 9 drawbars represents a frequency range an by pushing the drawbar down, the wet signal will be ducked at that frequency range.
Special thank to our friend Rex Basterfield for his phenomenal contribution to this project.
Freeware VST Plugin Brandulator is a complex sound processor that allows you to get quite interesting combined effects – comb filters, trance gate, vocoder, wah-wah, various types of modulation (chorus, flanger, phaser, ring, etc.). The work of this plugin is based on splitting the original signal into uniform intervals, in accordance with the tempo of the musical composition, to each of which a certain type of processing can be applied.
To expand the functionality of the plug-in, there are three individual channels of sound processing, with adjustable volume and panning, which allows you to create a realistic stereo sound picture. Each channel has 16 pairs of mode / key controls called steps. It is possible to set the parameters of the steps both individually and in a group method. Also, this can be done both in manual and in automatic mode, in accordance with the required harmonic law, of which there are about three hundred different scales in the plugin’s database.
Charlatan is a polyphonic subtractive synthesizer with focus on sound quality and easy usability.
It comes with a flexible, yet not overwhelming feature set which encourages artists to start tweaking instead of just relying on presets. Inspite of it’s simplicity, Charlatan’s architecture is flexible enough to create both classic sounds and rather experimental noises. While making no compromise about sound quality, the sound engine has been highly optimized for efficient CPU usage making Charlatan well suited as a “bread and butter” synth even in projects with a large number of plugin instances.
2 oscillators with shape modulation.
Oscillator hard synchronization and ring modulation.
Unison mode with upto 7 voices and stereo spread.
Stereo noise generator.
2 ADSR envelope generators.
LFO with host tempo synchronization.
3 filter types modeled after classic analog hardware: 4-pole (24 db/oct) and 2-pole (12 db/oct) lowpass, bandpass.
3 voice modes: Monophonic, Monophonic Legato and 8-voice Polyphonic.
Ultra-low CPU usage.
CR-777 (Chip Rhythm) is a programmable drum machine. It requires a DAW with multi IO support.
Features:
Kick, Snare, Clap, Hihat, Crash and Tom sounds.
Sounds can be programmed via an 8 step pattern.
2 AHD envelopes for volume and multimode filter.
Noise generators with adjustable stereo width.
It is a stereo “trance gate”, started from that, what used in the Saturn.
Added many extras to it: step based LP-HP-BP filter with cutoff and resonance, step based and global smoothing, a stereo, step based delay with adjustable time, fixed feedback and mix to more rhythmic patterns and the usual extras, like resizable GUI, randomization,…
The lower radio buttons switch between the step bar windows.
I’ve made only 4 useless presets to test the working and the preset saving – seems good, so create your own patterns and try the possibilities!
