Nu Guzheng is a sampled guzheng chinese plucked zither.
This traditional instrument has been recorded in stereo using a pair of Blue spark condenser microphones. Recorded in 32-bit and downsampled to 24-bit for the plugin version, the end result is clean-sounding and authentic.
1 Chinese Guzheng instrument sound.
Based on a high-quality 32-bit 44.1 kHz recording.
Amplitude range controls.
3 voice modes: polyphonic, monophonic, and legato.
Windows 8.1/10 or macOS El Capitan to Mojave (not compatible with Catalina and up).
Sawrizor Lite is an all-round wavetable / saw synthesizer that combines 2 high quality saw oscillators.
By mixing different generators for each oscillator, resulting in a matrix of recorded and hand made audio material of the last decades and unique new saw combinations.
Both units have voice unison features with detune, mix and other sound fattening abilities. The sub oscillator adds punch and more character to the sound. Chorus, delay and reverb effects enrich the sound with depth.
Sawrizor is aliasing free where necessary and allows up to 8x oversampling for high SNRs. Analogue sounding resonance/damp filters and an EQ complete the clearness of the digital synthesizer !
Double aliasing free wavetable synthesizer with unison and sub oscillator.
Famous high quality saw sounds of the last decades and new creations.
Resonance damping filter.
FX section with chorus, delay, reverb and equalizer.
Freely resizable GUI from very small up to Ultra-HD & 5K Retina.
Gala is a successor to our virtual analog instruments line which actually combines all of them under a single roof in 2 versions:
Gala XL – 28 instruments (royal pack member)
Gala free – 15 instruments (Free)
Both versions share the same basic features (which will be listed below) while the differences between them are:
Gala XL has keyboard split feature which allows splitting the hardware keyboard into 2 zones and routing each of the 4 oscillators to any zone
Gala XL has a new feature called “note slider” which allows creating note sliding sequence effect
Gala is based on an improved physical modeling code of a virtual analog oscillators that work in an open mixer format and mixes up 4 independent top crafted wave-forms with an incredible dynamic range and generates 28 instruments ensemble emulation, each with it’s own size and color which can mix any 4 instruments together and create rich multi combinations, articulations and textures.
Gala XL instruments:
3 pop strings.
5 oriental strings.
4 cinematic-pop brasses.
4 oriental organs.
Gala Free instruments:
3 pop strings.
4 cinematic-pop brasses.
Gala (both versions) has full synthesis section, 2 different MIDI velocity options, a user friendly global hipass-lopass filter, a full section of built in effects (saturation, chorus, phaser, tremolo, reverb and delay), built-in draw-bars system per oscillator, an advanced mono mode, full MIDI map, stereo and gleam effect and a resizable and customizable GUI.
Inspired by an Eurorack filter modul (G-Storm Gyrinx), which based on the Synton Syrinx, an old, but tricky synthesizer.
Use the fxb/fxp preset saving system of your DAW/Host, the txt-based one on the GUI prone to save some seq note incorrectly!
Created 40 presets in Savihost (optimized to the middle-C note and close to it, but you can transpose them with the OCT V12), some of them enjoyable, some just function test or demo, so feel free to modify them, create your own sounds/rhythms and save to the fxb bank. You can save more banks with different names, if need more patch slots.
The 32 & 64 bit Win VSTi plugins can be downloaded here:
(the bad news for Win XP users: I started it in newer FS Alphas, so maybe will not run on your system – but worth a try)
Click on the HELP button in System to read more about the features and handling, I tried to collect useful info in it.
The Syrinx was only an inspiration for me, but created by my ideas.
If you want a more authentic Syrinx inspired VST synths, try the great CyRinx I/II from Kevin Brown – I half-made my one, when recognized that Kevin has already made the 2 CyRinx…
Created a new multi-lane sequencer to it, the oscillators are wavetable based ones (came from my earlier 8&8 + created some analogish-looking tri-saw-square-pulse waves manually to it) and has more oscs than the original, there is a dedicated formant/vowel osc too, the delay has some new features (L-R ratio, cross mod), added my PseUn (pseudo-unison) to the effects, each module has Random-Reset, GUI resize, MIDI learn, Envelope Times knob (inspired by Dreadbox Typhon), DePitch to compensate the default 100% keytracking on the cutoff frequencies, morphable LFO waves,… but the heart of the synth is the filter, I think.
Surely far from the perfect, still has some issues what I plan to repair or improve, but enjoyed it a lot during the patch making and hope, you will too.
Acid Robot is not a Swiss Army tool, a simple synth, but can produce nice sounds and rhythmic patterns.
It has a key tracking, multi-lane sequencer with step based smoothing, 2 oscillators with PWM on ALL waveforms (tri-saw-pulse), distortion, a multi-mode filter, LFO and envelope modulations on the main parameters, a stereo delay, randomization, MIDI learn, GUI resize,…
If the sequencer is bypassed, the modulation part is different and you can use it as a normal synth. If the seq is on, each step retriggers the decay envelopes and the gate time follows the decay time – adjustable with the D/R knob. Added a simple stereo delay to it. The L-R time ratio is adjustable from 2/3 to 3/2. The max feedback is 1, where it became a short time “looper”. The shortest times with higher feedback can add metallic timbres to the sound.
I created my patches in SaviHost, but there was a small issue with the saving. The best way was: saved the created preset to the fxb and txt banks, then closed and re-opened SaviHost. This way the saving/loading was always successful. If you can live with it, create your own patterns and sounds.
You can read more about the features and tricks if click on the HELP button – tried to add many useful info to it.
Here is the link to the zip (32 & 64 bit Win VSTi, made with an older FS Alpha, so maybe XP users can use it too):
Randomidi is Jumper’s successor and as well can be described as DAW’s internal preset manager. This concept allows live performers to play with up to 16 VST instruments on stage or in live jams. By using your keyboard’s midi cc buttons, you can instantly switch between instruments that opened in your favorite DAW and you can even split your keyboard into 2 zones and route instruments to keyboard’s upper and lower zones. Each instrument button is routing the MIDI signal to the matching VSTi instrument in the DAW through a matching MIDI channel (from 1 to 16). All you have to do is to connect your midi keyboard to Randomidi and set your VST instruments in your DAW to receive midi signal from Randomidi’s midi channel. Randomidi also armed with 16 individual 999 variations arps (99 at the free edition) which especially crafted to work with chords. The note combinations of the arp are already seeded and may switched instantly in random during playing. Randomidi can also play in multi-mode by triggering several instruments at once (up to 16) and can even determine each keyboard zone’s unique octave.
Randomidi doesn’t create any sound, but used to control other VSTi’s that opened in the DAW via midi channels.
Randomidi comes in 2 versions: XL edition (which is attached to our Royal pack) and free edition. The differences between the two is that the XL edition has 999 internally seeded arp combinations and 16 individual arps, one for each channel.
Randomidi XL is part of our Royal pack which costs 30$.
Shruti Box VSTi is a small Additive synthesis drone box, a digital rendition of the classic Indian instrument.
A very light drone based instrument for quick sonic backgrounds – inspired on the Indian instrument “Shruti Box” – Our version comes with a Tremolo Effect, a Chorus Effect and other controls for Core sound such has “Body” “Damp” and “Shimmer”
A Constant Background Tone
Shruti box VSTi inst a standard fully equipped synth, nor its meant to be! This is something different and much more simple, our VSTi follows the same concept has the original instrument – producing constant Background Drones to be accompanied with other instruments or singing, or whatever comes your mind!
“A shruti box (sruti box or surpeti) is an instrument that traditionally works on a system of bellows. It is similar to a harmonium and is used to provide a drone in a practice session or concert of Indian classical music. It is used as an accompaniment to other instruments and notably the flute. The shruti box is also used in classical singing. In classical singing the shruti box is used to help tune the voice. The use of the shruti box has widened with the cross-cultural influences of world music and new-age music to provide a drone for many other instruments as well as vocalists.” wikipedia
Octave: Sets the base octave for the note switches with a range of -2 to +2, with a setting of 0 representing the base canonical shruti sound.
Volume: Controls the overall loudness of the device.
Body: Controls the first harmonic of the drone sound. Set between 70-85% for the typical Indian shruti sound.
Shimmer: Adds brightness to the sound with an additional upper harmonic. Turn up for more ofa buzzing sound.
Damp: Low pass damping filter. Useful in tandem with the shimmer knob in order to hit sweettonal spots.
Note Switches: These turn on and off each available note across one full octave on a C scalewith an additional upper C note. Hold between two and four notes for the typical shruti dronesound.
Drone: When turned off the device will respond to MIDI and play when you sustain any MIDInote. When turned on the device will play at all times.
Tremolo: A tremolo effect with selectable sine and triangle shapes and the ability to sync to thehost DAW tempo.
Stereo Chorus: A stereo chorus effect with controls for depth, rate, feedback, phase, and wetamount. The chorus can be turned on and off.ncert of Indian classical music.
