Free VSTi made by Jason Morin with the Maize Sampler. Contains the natural samples of my Baby Piano free sample set.
The Baby Piano is a Chinese Toy Piano. I found it at a flea market and it obviously has seen better days. There are 2 keys missing, its casing is worn out and there are loose parts in it. The sound is not even from one key to another partly because the mechanism of some keys is damaged and it’s also not in tune. This means that the Baby Piano VST corresponds to the “Real white keys” program of the free set, the real acoustic Baby Piano mapped from G3 to F5 only on white keys. The pitch heard does not match the key pressed except for G3 and it has velocity layers.

MGATE-MULTI is a versatile multiband gate plugin with intuitive visual display controls, that offers up to six bands of separation.
Furthermore, each band is provided with the following functionality:
Add/remove frequency bands by hovering over the top of the visual display until a ‘+’ button appears. Click on this button at the desired crossover location. A band can be removed by clicking on the ‘x’ button on the crossover that appears before the band to be removed.
LOOKAHEAD can be activated to add a small amount of delay to the sidechain signal to deal with fast attack signals.
Adjust the gate by using the THRESHOLD, RATIO, ATTACK and RELEASE knobs. Adjust the output gain by using the GAIN knob.
Each band can be deactivated, bypassed or soloed by using the buttons at the top right of each band. Additionally, the frequency bands can be adjusted by dragging the crossovers in the visual display. Additionally, the output gain can be adjusted in the visual display. The A-B functionality can be used to compare and select desired settings. A good selection of presets are provided as a starting point.
Global output controls including gain, wet/dry mix and bypass. Use the ‘BAND|OUTPUT’ toggle to switch control views.
Compare and select desired settings by using the A-B functionality.

Inphonik has announced the release of a free bitcrusher effect plugin for Windows, macOS, GNU/Linux, and iOS.
Meet the PCM2612 Retro Decimator Unit, a bitcrusher effect plug-in with a distinctive legacy. Based on the work we made on the RYM2612 Iconic FM Synthesizer, our tribute emulation of the Sega Genesis sound chip, the 8-bit decimation is inherited from the FM synth’s PCM playback feature, packed in a simple and compact effect unit. Bonus: it’s free!
The effect is available in 64-bit VST/VST3, AU and AAX plugin formats, as a Rack Extension for Reason 10.1 and higher, and as an AUv3/IAA app for iOS.
Analog Obsession & BPB releases Rare! And we made it really “Rare”!
There are tons of Pultec! All different but same process at the end. We thought that our version must be different!
Pultec is passive eq with gain stage at the end. Simple but awesome design.
I changed this design and added switchable gain stage. Pre and Post gain stage!
Pultec has its own gain stage at the end and when we boost low or high too much, gain stage will react according to eq moves. That’s the special design of Pultec.
But if we place gain stage before eq section, we can saturate signal at the unity gain without changing character by eq section and use eq without side effects of output gain stage.
Pultec has SRPP design and really colorful. So, it will saturate and compress especially low frequencies. But when we switch Pre Gain Stage, our low boost will give same harmonic character as flat. Also, we can keep highs from gain stage and this will make highs cleaner! With this feature, we can use Pultec without any harmonic changes while we use eq section.
GAIN: Will set gain stage pre or post eq
CPS Low Frequency: Low frequency switch
CPS Low Boost: Low frequency boost
CPS Low Atten: Low frequency atten
KCS High Frequency: High frequency switch
KCS High Boost: High frequency boost
ATTEN SEL High Atten: High atten frequency switch
ATTEN: High frequency atten
OUTPUT: Output control
ANALOG OBSESSION: This label is clickable. It will turn to red and engage Oversampling (4x)

Other small UI, UX improvements
Stereo. Plug-in for stereo component control, for master channel. It has an individual low frequency cut filter for central and side signals. Equalizer – shelf for tuning frequencies below 650hz for side channels without affecting the center. It frees the center well from excess LF, also with a meager low middle it will add energy to this frequency range and create a good volume of “enveloping” effect.
HY-ESG is a gate sequencer (aka a trance gate effect) with a twist. It uses a Euclidean sequencer instead of the standard step sequencer seen in most other trance gate plugins. You’ll probably find that HY-ESG is more fun and inspiring to use than your current favorite gate sequencer effect.
The Gate section is where you’ll find the ADSR controls for the volume envelope. This is where you’ll adjust the shape of the triggered steps, making them snappier or duller. On the right, the user can change the output gain and adjust the mix knob.
The Modulation section is where things can get crazy, in the best of ways. HY-ESG offers three modulation sources, each capable of running in LFO or S&H modes. These can modulate the ADSR envelope, the mix knob, and yes, the sequencer controls, too.
Use one LFO to modulate the number of steps while another LFO modulates the pulses and the S&H generator controls the mix knob.
It consists of four independent modules of delay lines, which are tuned to the required notes from the full MIDI range (from C0 to G10), which allows you to get quite interesting combined effects – chorus, flanger, phaser, vibrato, etc., within one plug-in.
Thanks to the tuning of the delay lines to the key, quite interesting types of tonal choruses and flangers are realized, imitating interval, chord, pentatonic and other sound combinations that cannot be realized through other effects. Another distinctive feature of this effect is the presence of an adjustable high-pass filter in the feedback loop, which gives a peculiar flavor to the sound, reminiscent of flight.
