Fleeter is a transient processor / saturator designed to fatten up drums. It has only three simple knobs: Time, Amount, and Saturation. Time corresponds to how long a transient is. Amount corresponds to how much or little the plugin should emphasize a transient. Saturation adds analog charm to the track and creates upwards harmonics.

SpikeQ is a frequency based transient shaper.
As a distant cousin of Drum Snapper, it features the same attitude for increasing the Attack of a source, but expands it with the ability to enhance certain frequency areas on the attack portion of a sound.

Bionic is a “transient splicing engine”, i.e. it is designed to give detailed control over a range of parameters needed to mix and match a number of different initial transients to another set of tails/longer sounds.

There are four layers, accessible on page 1: two transient layers, and two tail layers. Levels can be adjusted as balance between each of the tail/transient layers respectively, and globally between transients and tails. Each layer contains sample offset and tuning controls as well as a “humanize” function which introduces subtle to not-so-subtle random pitch variations (especially helpful for making non-tonal transients more realistic).

Crack is a workhorse of a plugin. It’s great on just one drum or for quickly adjusting a loop and is cheap on your CPU so you can load it up across all your tracks. Its other advantage is that it can be blended with the dry signal using the Dry/Wet knob, so you can dial in the amount of the effect. Like Impact, Crack features a custom limiter for peak reduction, soft analog-modeled clipping, and a maximizer specially tuned for use with transient materials.
