T-De-Esser by Techivation 0 (0)

Remove sibilance and harshness, fast

You can use T-De-Esser to:

  • Remove harshness from sound sources that were closely mic’d.
  • Manage sibilance in vocals and dialog in a transparent manner.
  • Treat irregular tonal balance caused by the poor recording quality.
  • Reduce the glare from unnecessarily bright guitar and piano recordings.
  • Tame piercing synth sounds.
  • Control the high-frequencies in overheads’ transients, such as snare, hi-hats, or clash.
  • Give more dynamic range to your tracks while mastering, due to the reduction of unnecessary high frequencies.

T-De-Esser can streamline your audio project workflow by saving you both vital time and effort. It works as effectively on individual tracks as it does on buses. It performs admirably in a wide range of implementations, from sound design and post-production to the most demanding of mastering applications.

Graphic user interface (GUI)

Visuals can distract your hearing, digital graphs are very likely to affect your decision-making when it comes to setting the values. T-De-Esser, however, helps you just stay focused on the output sound, rather than how things change visually as you tweak the settings.

Whilst there are only a few knobs and buttons on the GUI, each has a huge impact on the audio sound improvement. Less is more, so just to avoid getting caught in the trap of making infinite, minuscule tweaks, we made sure only to have the essential options available for you on the GUI.

The options available are designed in a way to quickly give you a pleasant sound in just a few adjustments.

Quick yet powerful.

TT-De-Esser has been designed with simplicity in mind. It is fast to set up and easy to use, yet allows you to adjust the processing to your needs.

Turning the processing knob starts the plug-in’s operation, you then set how intense you want to go according to your taste. There are 4 frequency bands available to choose between, choose depending on where the harshness and sibilance are coming from.

Available as

Windows 7 and up as 32 / 64-bit VST3, and 64-bit.
Mac OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) – macOS 10.15 (Big Sur) as 32/64-bit VST and AU, Intel and M1 Rosetta 2 Macs
Pro Tools AAX coming soon.

Acon Digital Multiply Free 1.3.1 (Win/Mac) 0 (0)

Acon Digital Multiply is a free and versatile chorus effect with a unique twist. Each simulated voice is processed with a phase randomizing filter so that unpleasant comb filter effects are avoided. The effect can be used to simulate the effect of several performers playing the same tones simultaneously, to widen the spatial image or to create special effects for sound design. Multiply can simulate up to 6 additional voices and both the pitch and the loudness of the voices can be modulated. There is also an integrated equalizer consisting of low cut, low shelf, high shelf and high cut filters that can be applied to the effect signal. An integrated pre-delay section makes it possible to create modulated and diffuse echo effects.

Platforms and Plug-in Formats
Available as VST or AAX plug-ins on PC (Windows)
Available as VST, AAX or AU plug-ins on Apple Macintosh (OS X)
Native 32 bit or 64 bit versions of all plug-ins are available
Supports sampling rates up to 96 kHz
Mono and stereo (true stereo processing)

BIONIC PLUCKS AND MALLETS – LITE EDITION by RIOT AUDIO[Kontakt] 0 (0)

INTRODUCTION

Bionic is a “transient splicing engine”, i.e. it is designed to give detailed control over a range of parameters needed to mix and match a number of different initial transients to another set of tails/longer sounds.

SOUND DESIGN POSSIBILITIES

The result are

  1. Hybrid recreations of classic sounds with mostly organic attacks (taps, mallets, plucks, brush) and a mix of organic and synth/pure sine tails.
  2. Creative, inventive sounds that push the combinations of previously unrelated sounds into new territory

Some of the “bionic” sounds included in this initial version of the product (Lite):

  • Replicas of classic house organ sounds
  • Celesta, Music Box, Xylophone
  • A range of bass sounds including a “reconstructed” pizzicato upright bass

There are four layers, accessible on page 1: two transient layers, and two tail layers. Levels can be adjusted as balance between each of the tail/transient layers respectively, and globally between transients and tails. Each layer contains sample offset and tuning controls as well as a “humanize” function which introduces subtle to not-so-subtle random pitch variations (especially helpful for making non-tonal transients more realistic).

The effects page includes filters, EQ, saturation and delay + reverb controls.

FEATURES

  • 4 layers of sound: 2 transient layers and 2 tail layers
  • Extensive sound sculpting controls, including crossover fade (between transient and tail samples), crossover point, tail envelope, transient attack curve (shape)
  • Vibrato, Velocity Sensitivity (Volume, Low Pass and High Pass) and Humanize Controls for in-depth realism
  • 20 Presets: Tap Celesta, Tap Bell, Mr Android Pluck, Plastic Pizzicato Bass, Breathy Stab, Expansive Xylophone, Rhodesian Scholar, House Organ, Vibey House Organ, Steel Drum Baby, Music Box, Starlight Swoosh, A Gong or Two, Plucky Squelchy Bass, White Noise Organ Stab, Pillow Harp, Gamelan, Hammond Bass, Electric Bass, Heavy Tines.
  • Replika Analog Style delay
  • Based on Riot Audio’s proprietary BIONIC TRANSIENT SPLICING ENGINE
  • Total size of sampled content: 0.36 GB
  • Requires Native Instruments Kontakt 6.4.2 (Full Version)

igorski HomeCorrupter free Bitcrusher plugin VST/VST3 0 (0)

VST effects plugin

HomeCorrupter provides an effect that harks back to a period in which computers weren’t actually that good at handling audio.

The plugin can degrade the resolution of any incoming audio signal by reducing the sampling rate and bit depth. Further lo-fi quality is achieved by reducing the “computers clock speed” which slows down the playback of the input, all on the fly.

All properties can either be automated using the built-in oscillators or can be controlled directly from your DAW.

Think industrial or dark sound design to find a purpose for the plugin.

On playback rate / recording

HomeCorrupter provides up to 30 seconds of recording which gives you plenty of time to slow down the playback to its maximum (e.g. half speed).

Note that once you return the playback rate to the original speed the playback will jump to match the input stream (think of it as aligning the read / write heads on a tape recorder).

This should allow you to create live “record scratches” or “tape machine shutdown” effects while being able to return to the original sound with perfect timing.

Controls

HomeCorrupter is pretty straightforward as you can control sample rate, bit depth and playback rate using their dedicated sliders. Each of these can also be controlled by an LFO. The LFO’s become active once their speed is set above 0 Hz.

You can set the speed between 0 – 10 Hz and control the depth of the sweep for a stronger effect.

Additional to the above you can set the wet/dry mix of the effect using the balance controls

The archive contains VST2 and VST3 plugins for both macOS (10.10/Yosemite and higher) and Windows 10.

  • Installation instructions are provided inside the archive’s README file.
  • Linux packages are currently not provided, though you can build from source.

Elementary Sounds Wremena Random Notes KONTAKT [FREE] 0 (0)

A completely new patch for Wremena. It’s similar to the Random Octaves patch from the main library, but here when you press one note it plays the same note in different ways, speed and dynamics. Also its X patch has a different from the Random Octave patch sound design. The tape based process, modular synth and Hologram Electronics pedals were applied to the X patch.

Wremena is a recreation of the beautifully sounding handmade PRS guitar. By means of the vintage and modern analog gears it was transformed into the unique and sufficiently warm instrument, that still has the familiar cozy sound.
