Nettle explores the unique and relatively under-explored world of scanned synthesis.
The timbre of the sounds you create constantly evolve, as the waveform produced is made by tracing (scanning) the positions of masses that are always in motion. These masses are set into motion when you press a key on your MIDI controller – this simulates the action of a hammer striking the connection of masses.
Through the user’s manipulation of the masses, the springs that connect them, and the hammer that excites them, a wide range of dynamic, almost sentient, sounds are possible.
Fully automatable knobs.
Filter (low-pass, high-pass) and reverb available for signal processing.
Four LFOs and ADSRs available for modulation, along with two sources for modulation via your MIDI controller.
Built-in presets, as well as the ability for users to save and modify their own presets.
Acon Digital Multiply is a free and versatile chorus effect with a unique twist. Each simulated voice is processed with a phase randomizing filter so that unpleasant comb filter effects are avoided. The effect can be used to simulate the effect of several performers playing the same tones simultaneously, to widen the spatial image or to create special effects for sound design. Multiply can simulate up to 6 additional voices and both the pitch and the loudness of the voices can be modulated. There is also an integrated equalizer consisting of low cut, low shelf, high shelf and high cut filters that can be applied to the effect signal. An integrated pre-delay section makes it possible to create modulated and diffuse echo effects.

Caution: Each preset has its own MIDI assignment. If you make a MIDI assignment you need to save the preset. Otherwise, the MIDI assignment you’ve made will be lost as soon you change the preset. If you want to make your own presets with the same MIDI assignments, you can do it by assigning MIDI controls to the Initial preset, saving a copy of it, and using it as a template for your sounds.
EVOX Calypso is an experimental sound, performance-oriented virtual musical instrument that is designed for creating cinematic ambient soundscapes, sound structures, and atmospheric and ethereal textures, as well as more traditional synthesizer sounds that can be layered to create a tremendous variety of spatial sounds. EVOX Calypso sounds extend to unattainable distances, immersing you in unexpected worlds. The tool includes more than 128 ready-to-mix presets.
EVOX Calypso is Free/Donate. The Free version has some limitations. A version available to supporters includes a package of additional presets for synthesizers, effects, and track models. No installation is necessary, and it works without problems in Windows XP and Windows 10 (32/64-bit). (EVOX Calypso is 32-bit.)
EVOX Calypso is an standalone tool application for Windows that employs Wavetable / Granular synthesis in two separate and programmable layers each with extensive FX, Modulation Matrix and Chord Sequencer modules which provide the user with maximum control over unique sound creation.
As an experimental synthesizer, it radically departs from standard type instruments and is meant to be used as a laboratory for the exploration of new sonic and timbral creations. Playing EVOX Calypso is not like playing a conventional synthesizer, it does not have a keyboard and MIDI GUI like conventional synthesizers. Sound manipulation is carried out by built-in modulators and sequencers.
EVOX Calypso also has an 8-track sequencer with up to 64 steps for each track. Each track is essentially a separate synthesizer that can be recorded and played back in sync with the other tracks. Mini compositions can be made by merging these tracks together.
TAL-NoiseMaker is an improved version of TAL-Elek7ro and has a completely new synth engine and a lot of improvements in sound and usability. The synth also includes a small effect section with a reverb, chorus and a simple bit crusher effect.
A display shows the knob and slider values. This allows more control over the synth. A ringmodulator and a syncable triangle are also part of this synth. TAL-NoiseMaker includes new filter types as the self resonating 6dB low pass and a notch filter. Its improved amplitude ADSR is very suitable for slow pads as for really fast envelopes. 128 factory presets included, 80 made by Frank “Xenox” Neumann / Particular – Sound

MI-EP reproduces the vintage analog electronic piano from US manufacturer, Rocky Mount Instruments Electra Piano, produced from 1967 until 1980.
The sound engine of the RMI-EP is a software emulation of the real analog oscillators and filters used inside the original instrument. The RMI-EP implements the same presets and controls that you can find in the real instrument. Furthermore there is also a effect sections that includes Reverb, Phaser and Chorus.
Any configuration of the electric piano is storable in up to 128 programs and can be reloaded through midi program change. All the controls can be handled through midi control change messages.
Toum! is a virtual synthesizer to design kick, tom, timbal, percussion and bass sounds. The user can use the include presets or make their own analog, acoustic and electronic drums, and EDM bass synth sounds. Also can be designed snares, clap, hats and certain FX sounds.
Toum! has a virtual analog structure and a small phase modulation component.
