Logger by Blåfot-Produktion 0 (0)

logger-1

Logger is a VST-plugin for VST-compatible hosts.

It does not make any sounds or process audio in any way.

What it does is when it recieves MIDI (midi-key or controllchange, as defined in settings) it will log the date, time and your notes to a log-file.

I developed Logger-VST for my own needs so I can log start of the first song and end of the last song in a set automatic as I play a lot with backingtracks and seven diffrent sets every show.

Then I can keep track of when to go on stage andd how long breaks to take without the need to write down the times myself (cause I forget to do it).

You can log events live using keys and sustain or any controller or log events programmed in daw. It logs even if editor is closed.

Beatzille: little monster
Beatzille is a compact version of our monster modular synthesizer Bazille. Although its condensed feature set makes it the ‘little brother’, Beatzille is still an engaging and capable synthesizer. Power and style run in the family. Digital oscillators, analogue-style filter and flexible patching will keep you busy for a good while before thinking about tackling Bazille.

Features:
• Modular architecture
• 2 digital oscillators with simultaneous frequency modulation (FM), phase distortion (PD) and fractal resonance (FR)
• Polyphonic (up to 8 voices), duophonic (split oscillator pitches), legato or retriggered monophonic
• Pitch transpose, drift and glide control
• 1 multimode analogue-style filter with 6 parallel outputs (4× lowpass, bandpass, highpass)
• 2 ADSR envelopes with sustain slope (fall/rise) and 5 trigger modes
• 1 LFO with 3 parallel outputs with various waveforms
• 16-step sequencer with 8 morphable snapshots. 4 output sockets for parallel sequences, envelope triggers and more
• 2 multiplex units for mixing, crossfades, ring modulation or amplitude modulation
• Built-in stereo delay with tape wow, feedback and damping filters
• 1 mapping generator (waveshaper / incrementer)
• Audio-rate signal processors: inverter, rectifier, sample & hold, dual lag generator and quantizer
• White and pink noise generators
• MIDI modulation sources include modwheel, velocity, breath, pressure, key follow, gate and more
• Single-page interface
• Skinnable UI
• Resizable UI from 70% to 200%
• Global preferences page
• MIDI learn overlay and editable MIDI CC list
• Over 160 factory presets
• NEW in v1.0.2: Support for Oddsound MTS-ESP

Small and mighty
Striking the balance between too much and too little, Beatzille is the happy medium. It presents an introduction to modular synthesis and a taste of the power of Bazille without being overwhelming.

Oscillators
Beatzille’s oscillators embrace two digital synthesis methods developed during the 1980s: frequency modulation (FM) and phase distortion (PD). We also added a process we call fractal resonance (Fractalize), which sounds similar to the classic oscillator sync effect when swept.

All three synthesis methods run simultaneously, so you can combine them to create an extensive range of sounds. Beatzille is great at generating weird modular blips and squeaks, but you can even coax soft pads and organic keys from the oscillators—as demonstrated by the factory library. Add modulation for even more sound possibilities.

Filter
The filter is a favourite in the sound designer’s toolkit. Cut frequencies, boost others, add texture and colour. Beatzille’s analogue-style filter complements the digital oscillators, providing warmth and drive. And its self-oscillation capability opens up some intriguing sound design opportunities.

Even with a single filter Beatzille offers plenty of creative horizons. The six parallel outputs (highpass, bandpass and four types of lowpass) with multiple modulation options make it easy to create complex, shifting textures.

Delay
Beatzille has only one built-in effect, but it’s good one: stereo delay with optional host sync. Push your sound around in space with independent delay times and volumes for each channel. Conjure ghostly echoes using tape-like wobble and filtering or set up endless repetitions. Tweak all controls to find the perfect delay.

Release notes:

Beatzille 1.0.2 (revision 12092)

The Windows installer was improved to prevent common installations issues. Please check the suggested installation paths during installation, making sure the update is installed into the same location as the previous version, and all installed plugin formats are being updated.

Envelope triggering via LFO and sequencer was reworked in order to fix multiple bugs in this area. This means some presets might not sound as intended anymore. We therefore recommend to finish ongoing projects before updating to the new version. Please refer to the “Patch Conversion Tips” file to get more info on how to adjust your presets.

Upright Piano by audiolatry 0 (0)

954f45fbf77f11cfb4fd0902503a88363d6d8bde9bfe57df651c8578c0dcb2fa

Upright Piano is a sampled Kawai upright piano.

The samples were recorded in 44.1kHz 16bit audio quality. There are 2 velocity layers, which make this plugin ideal for simple piano lines. With its sharp and fuzzy sound, it will fit well in dark and sad melodies.

Upright Piano sports an easy-to-use GUI. You will notice typical controls such as attack & release, global gain, also a simple reverb. The “Tremolo” section consists of an LFO section with LFO destination (pitch, expression, or pan), rate & depth. Underneath there’s a simple lowpass/highpass filter with cutoff.

If you’re wondering what’s that “Key” little knob, it simply sets the amount of noise for keys release.

  • Sampled Kawai Upright Piano.
  • 2 velocity layers.
  • Keys release.
  • 44.1kHz 16bit audio quality.
  • Only 57 MB size on disk.
  • Attack & release.
  • LFO (pitch, expression, or pan destination) with rate & depth.
  • Filter cutoff (lowpass & highpass).
  • Reverb module.
  • Global volume.

Grand Piano XXL by audiolatry 5 (2)

Grand-Piano-XXL_3

Grand Piano XXL is a sampled Yamaha C5 6’7″ Grand Piano.

The original samples (Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 license) were recorded by Alexander Holm with two AKG c414 condenser microphones placed in an AB position at around 12 centimeters above the strings.

All the samples were captured in 48kHz 24-bit audio quality with 16 velocity layers which are all present in this virtual plugin, hence the 1.19 GB size on disk.

The GUI is simple and intuitive with attack & release controls, reverb module, and gain. In the middle, there’s a “Tremolo” section with LFO rate & depth for pitch, expression, and pan, plus filter cutoff with selectable lowpass/highpass. The “Key” knob acts as a gain for piano keys release.

  • Sampled Yamaha C5 Grand Piano.
  • 16 velocity layers.
  • Keys release.
  • 48kHz 24-bit audio quality.
  • 1.19 GB size on disk.
  • Attack & release.
  • LFO with rate & depth.
  • Filter cutoff (lowpass & highpass).
  • Reverb module.
  • Volume knob.

Grand Piano XXL comes in two plugin versions: VST (VST2) and VST3. It works within DAWs or other plugin hosts loaded on Windows 8.1/10. You will need 1.19 GB of hard drive space.

SC-3 by Samsara Cycle Audio[win, VSTI3, x64] 0 (0)

Samsara_SC3

SC-3 is a clavinet influenced instrument.

Keys Section: Phase simulates Pickup mixing. Octave can be used to switch between 3 octaves. +Keys introduces a 1 octave higher instrument (this is a subtle effect).

Timbre Section: Tone is used to control the frequency brightness. Timbre Velocity is used to add a level of attack brightness. Experiment between these two controls to introduce various shapes, especially for Twang effect.

Tone Section: Simple cut and boost for overall tone of the instrument.

Shape Section: These controls are used to create various feel to the playing and adjust the envelope of the instrument. The effect of these controls work closely with the Timbre Section.

Amplifier Section: These controls influence the final output of the instrument.
Velocity sensitivity can be increased from less active to more. The distortion control provides a natural saturation to the output.

Mute: This slider simulates a dampen effect on strings.

Reaktor Sapphire Metasequencer by Yofiel 0 (0)

sapphire

Originally sold on Heavens*onEarth, Sapphire has been widely acknowledged as the single most powerful MIDI sequencer instrument ever created. Many people have heard it create different musical phrases on the TV series ’30 Something, ‘ thinking it was a ‘real musician.’ Well, the composer simply set Sapphire up to generate different theme variations depending when he played only two notes.

Briefly, the ensemble’s 16 sequencer channels can intermodulate each other’s notes, velocity, clock rate, and/or bar patterns. Intermodulation can be clocked or single-stepped in layered, fugued, recursive, and 1-shot modes. Other abilities include note filtering and clipping, chord generation, note mapping to musical keys, input recording, MIDI I/O crossmapping, and clock jitter. note sequences to different instruments, and clock jitter control, on the B panelset.

Reaktor 5+ is required.
