Swamp XT by HG Fortune[win][x86][vsti] 5 (1)

Swamp XT is a timbre modulation synthesizer. It can create unique sounds from clear & harsh metallic sequenced sounds to soft & wide modulated Pads. This is achieved by modulating the timbre on the oscillator level.

Swamp XT features ‘Timbre-modulation’: It processes each oscillator’s waveform in a very unique way by changing (i.e. enriching or limiting) the harmonic spectrum making the sound fatter, wider or narrower, right down to nearly dissolving it to some kind of distorted noise, depending on the input wave.

While the original Swamp had an oscillator routing to balance its output between normal (i.e. direct signal) and timbre modulated signal, which could each be balanced to go to direct out or to filter, this has been simplified in Swamp XT: direct und timbre modulated signal can be balance mixed to one signal and the output of both oscillators can be balance mixed too. While the direct and filtered signal can be balanced at the amplifier stage of Swamp XT.

Swamp XT delivers a wide variety of sounds – including some really strange and weird.

  • 2 digital oscillators running at a time to be selected from:– 2 PCM wave oscillators powered by 128 different waveforms.
    – 2 additive wavetable generators to create various waves from up to 31 partials.
  • 1 resonant filter (24db Lowpass).
  • 4 ADSR-style envelope generators.
  • X-Torsion, one Spook effect, one Gator (Gater) effect.
  • 4 LFO (BPM-synced).
  • 1 dedicated Pitch LFO (BPM-synced).
  • 1 Sample & Hold (BPM-synced).
  • 1 BPM-synced Delay.
  • XY Super-modulation Pad.

Quilcom Mystery 0 (0)

The Quilcom Mystery synthesiser was designed to explore a specific type of technique whereby an additive synth (with sub) can have the amplitude of each partial modulated by its own independent polyphonic LFO. Many settings can be randomised manually or via a trigger generator, and there are two identical sound generators for nice stereo effects and a fuller sound.

The technique seems to be most useful for pad and soundscape making, so that’s what the presets focus on.

Try it on headphones, and I hope you like it!

KUJASHI Soundbank for the RMI Harmonic Synthesizer by Tom Saouz 5 (2)

Bekannteste User waren u.a.

5 Soundbanks (total amount of 40 Patches) for the RMI Harmonic Vsti by Tom Saouz

The Original was a very rare (only 4 units were sold) and special Synthesizer – a real gem in Additive Synthesis.

It was used by Jean-Michel Jarre and Klaus Schulze, for example.

The RMI Harmonic VSTi is an accurate emulation and could produce some of the original sounds (without the original sequencer).

In my soundbanks you can find huge additive pads, Vocalsounds, some Keys and Bells, many Sequencer-Food, some SFX, for sure really good organs, Additive Leads and a lot of retrosounds from the 70s.

There are 5 banks (8 sounds pro bank) with a total amount of 40 Patches.

Have a good listen to this sounddemo – it shows, what these sounds are made for. Only sounds from the banks were used in this demo (except the drums) and played without the use of external effects (except a sequencer).

For download the banks you have to register in the forum – it´s free!

Solcito Musica Arido 3.33 VSTi for Free 0 (0)

Arido is an additive synthesizer with a simple FM feature and a subtractive filter.
It includes a polyphonic driver to generate variety of timbres. That is, a distorter that works on each note separately. This synth allows make sounds like ambient, bass, pads, organs, distorted, nature, emulations, etc.
It brings on-panel help, MIDI Learn and pedal switch functions.

Add’It by MVX Synths 0 (0)

Add’It by MVX Synths

Add’It is an 8 oscillator additive toy with 4 typical waveforms and a dual SVF multimode filter. Takes advantage of its modulation capabilities segmented in.

A – Amplitude
P – Pitch
B – Stereo balance.

Too few preset programmed, but they sound different compared to any other MVX stuff thanks to the added layers that provide extra timbres that can be dynamically modulated with each of its 3 LFO & 3 ADSR.
It is not intended to create just typical additive stuff like Drawbars or typical organs. The modulated parameters gives a chance to create unique sounds to leave behind the limitations of the subtractive synthesis.

Of course, you’ll need Synthedit 1.0+ to be installed in your system to see it’s bizarre GUI, but its low memory requirements (less than 30MB) won’t eat your resources. CPU usage is also small for nowadays systems as it was initially developed in a Core 2 Duo CPU.
