T-De-Esser + Delta-listening

The T-De-Esser Plus has the same functionality as the original T-De-Esser, but the interface now displays our upcoming premium features. These features will be available shortly in our paid upgrade, T-De-Esser Pro. The T-De-Esser Plus has one of the Pro features activated, the ‘Audition’ (Delta-listening) feature, and it is free to use.

You can always change back to the original T-De-Esser after installing this version.

The Magic

Unlike the majority of De-Esser plug-ins available on the market, T-De-Esser gives a pure natural sound while smoothing the high-frequencies. The only noticeable difference will be the removal of harshness.

Remove sibilance and harshness, fast

You can use T-De-Esser to:

  • Remove harshness from sound sources that were closely mic’d.Manage sibilance in vocals and dialog in a transparent manner.

Treat irregular tonal balance caused by poor recording quality.

Reduce the glare from unnecessarily bright guitar and piano recordings.

    Tame piercing synth sounds.

Control the high-frequencies in overheads’ transients, such as snare, hi-hats, or clash.

Give more dynamic range to your tracks while mastering, due to the reduction of unnecessary high frequencies.

T-De-Esser Plus can streamline your audio project workflow by saving you both vital time and effort. It works as effectively on individual tracks as it does on buses. It performs efficiently in a wide range of implementations, from sound design and post-production to the most demanding of mastering applications.

Graphic user interface (GUI)

Visuals can distract your hearing, digital graphs are very likely to affect your decision-making when it comes to audio editing. T-De-Esser, however, helps you just stay focused on keeping it as simple as possible visually and help you focus on the output sound.

The T-De-Esser Plus has the same functionality as the original T-De-Esser, but the interface now displays our upcoming premium features. These features will be available shortly in our paid upgrade, T-De-Esser Pro. The T-De-Esser Plus has one of the Pro features activated, the ‘Audition’ feature, which is free to use.

We’ve added the most advanced cutting-edge features in the upcoming T-De-Esser Pro that’ll help you with significant sound quality improvements. Less is more, so just to avoid getting caught in the trap of making infinite, minuscule tweaks, we made sure only to have the essential options available for you on the GUI.

The options available are designed in a way to quickly give you a pleasant sound with just a few tweaks.

Quick yet powerful

T-De-Esser has been designed with simplicity in mind. It is fast to set up and easy to use, yet allows you to adjust the processing to your needs.

Turning the processing knob starts the plug-in’s operation, you then set how intense you want to go according to your taste. There are 4 frequency bands available to choose between, depending on where the harshness and sibilance are coming from.

The ‘Audition’ (Delta-listening) feature in T-De-Esser Plus allows you to listen to the selected frequency range modes, as well as letting you listen to the audio sounds that are being processed, by the plug-in. This helps when it comes to making specific comparisons.

My Crush by Denise 0 (0)

my_crush_render2x

denise wanted to create a fun and inspiring crusher, with the same brutal power of the Bite Harder, but the simplicity of preset controls and way to shape your sound in a quick and inspiring way. My Crush gives you the possibility to create the same, classic bit-crushing tones and audio destruction, in a simplified way, for no cost at all.

Refined crush controls.

The same insane bit crushing algorithm from the Bite Harder drives the My Crush plugin. The individual bit (reduce) and re-sample dials help you to gradually destroy your sound. The stutter fader adds a layer of creativity on top.

OS-251 by Onsen Audio 0 (0)

OS-251_screenshot

OS-251 is a pure digital lo-fi synthesizer plugin for Mac, Windows and Linux. Available in VST3 and AU plugin formats for free.

Digital lo-fi sounds

OS-251 is a “JUNO” style digital subtractive synthesizer with a simple yet powerful DSP algorithm. Unlike other plugins that use analogue simulation, OS-251 uses digital algorithms to give warm, lo-fi sounds. The design of the oscillators and the selection of parameters were influenced by the JUNO-106, making it easier to express a thicker, chunkier sound.

The oscillator has alias noise (specific to digital signal processing) famous on classic samplers like E-mu SP-12 which adds lo-fi feeling to the sound. You can enjoy the powerful sound at modern sampling rates with your DAW.

Easy to use

OS-251 is equipped with only carefully selected parameters, allowing musicians to concentrate on music production. You can see every parameter at once, so you can have a stress-free experience. Because the number of the parameters is limited, you can create the desired sounds yourself quickly and you don’t have to spend your precious time choosing presets.

Key features:

  • Up to 10 voices of polyphony.
  • Oscillators (Sin, Square, Saw), with Shape parameter.
  • Square sub oscillator.
  • Noise oscillator.
  • Biquad low-pass filter (LPF) with Frequency and Resonance parameters.
  • Biquad high-pass filter (HPF) with Frequency parameter.
  • Envelope generator which can control LPF and amplitude.
  • Low-frequency oscillator (LFO) which can control LPF, amplitude, and Shape parameter.
  • LFO sync.
  • Chorus.
  • Flexible pitch controls (pitch bend width, octave, semitone, fine tuning).

Prime Studio CHARLY 2 v1.40 VST, AAX, AU WIN.OSX [FREE] 0 (0)

Prime Studio® (powered by Acustica Audio) Charly is a summing tool based on an analogue tube device that has been modified according to our specifications. Charly refines signals with fine tube character and analog punch adding harmonic distortion.

Description from the previous version:

Charly is perfect to rhythmically enhance drum loops, to bring to life dull and boring sounds, as well as to fatten loops and mixes.

Its simplicity translates into an output gain divided between -10dB and +10dB, an on/off switch button which turns on the plugin or sets it in bypass mode, and a couple of left/right VU meters that measure the stereo input level. All the magic is done by the output gain rotary knob; it acts like a stereo enhancer and adds a slight compression and reverb. The amplification is made without distortions and artifacts.

Vastaus Is A FREE High-Frequency Enhancer Plugin By Wavegrove 0 (0)

Vastaus lives on instrument channels, buses and it is known to have been spotted on the master channel too. Feel free to use and abuse it. Try to add an EQ before Vastaus and push the highs way overboard and how Vastaus reacts.

It is at it’s most neutral at Input Gain and Tame at 0, at which time it brings down and blocks overly harsh high frequencies present in vocal esses, smooths cymbals, guitars and pretty much anything you throw at it.

Increasing Tame brings enhances that effect, but also brings in more options with the React switch, as well as with the Bias setting. React is a mode, where Tame starts to let through some transients in a really interesting way, bringing out more detail and clarity, but still smoothing the sound. With Bias, you can further control the sound by limiting the effect to either the positive or negative side of the audio samples, generating harmonics in the process. I have heard this referred to as silky, and apparently some well-known hardware unit makers use a process similar to this.

Lastly there is Gain. With the Input Gain, you control the overall signal boost you get going into the thing, while the Output Gain works as a pad, with 100% level adding no additional volume. Boosting the input gain can bring additional high end to the signal after taming it, which is especially useful with instruments such as the electric guitar. In conjunction with the use of the Bias knob, Vastaus can even act as a leveling tool, which also boosts and extends the high end frequencies far above where they ended in the original signal.

Use the Wet knob to blend the changed signal with the original in whatever way you want.
