The Quilcom SIM-W is synth designed to simulate the Tin Whistle. It uses no samples and relies on synthesiser techniques only. Since it’s a synthesiser, the range of timbres available is considerably wider than sample sets. And it’s free!

Click on the picture to get the zip which contains 32 and 64 bit plugins and a 32 bit plugin for Windows XP users. There’s background info, a user Guide which I recommend reading and the FlowStone schematic (which isn’t needed for the plugins to work).

The CBW01 drum machine was created for music-society.net

CBW01 features 4 drum hit editors and 1 effects section. Each editor and the effect section has independent midi
controls including, Midi Channel, Midi note Hi and Lo (key range) and 16 modulation slots (sources, pitch wheel,
mod wheel, velocity and key follow). This allows for greater dynamics whilst playing. See the feature list below
for each drum hit’s modulation destiantion possibilities.
The kick editor also has a space for writing patch information, hit channel, key range etc. This helps when sharing
presets or when your patches are getting a little complex you can make notes.
