In this video we’re going through what I would change from REAPER’s default settings if I was starting fresh with REAPER. These are most of what I would change from the default settings and would be suitable for any new user to easy the operation and learning process.

The Oderbruch, which is almost 60 km long and 12–20 km wide, stretches between the towns of Oderberg and Bad Freienwalde in the northwest and Lebus in the southeast. The second largest tributary after the Oder — at the same time the largest tributary of the Oder — is the Warta, which flows into the Oderbruch a good 10 km after its entrance. In the west, the Oderbruch is bordered by the high plateaus of the Barnim and the Land Lebus, on whose slopes the towns of Wriezen and Seelow are located. The eastern border is formed by the Neumärkische Hügelland and the Wartheniederung. Excluding the Neuenhagen Island, the Oderbruch between Reitwein and Hohensaaten has a total area of 920 km². To the west of the river it has been a river polder since the middle of the 18th century, while on the 17% of the area on the eastern bank, now located in Poland, the original wetland has been preserved. The bottom of the Oderbruch forms a very gently sloping plain, dropping from 14 m in the southeast to one meter sea level in the northwest. The low-lying part west of the Neuenhagen spur, which is only 2-6 km wide, is called Niederes Oderbruch.
Let me introduce you a Bottlephone, its live recorded instrument made from plastic bottles filled with air. It have great percussive presence. We created 3 different bottles that can be use for Pop, Hip Hop, Trap or even Soundtrack compositions.
Lo-Fi Keys is a processed piano rompler inspired by today’s modern Lo-Fi music.
This small VST / AU plugin gives you the ability to lay out soft & dusty piano chord progressions and melodies.
Lo-Fi Keys comes with 10 sampled piano instruments. To create each preset we first started by sampling actual pianos. These pianos include a classic grand piano, upright piano, and electric keyboard. After recording the instruments we lightly edited and processed each sample. The processing technique included applying vinyl and tape textures to emulate a vintage sound. Finally, each sample showcases the characteristics found in today’s most popular lo-fi piano beats.
It brings up lightning speed drum-kits loading and fast one stage control, fitted for live usage. Now, with better control, both mp3 and WAV. format support, faster workflow and only 0.5 sec. loading times for new core kit, Yumbu 2 is one of the quickest drum samplers in the market.
Yumbu 2 uses 10 (.wav, mp3) file sample slots to build 10 drum components drum-kits. According to this approach, every slot can be anything, from kicks to snares or cymbals or you name it. Each slot is triggered by its own unique MIDI note which noted on its slot button. For instance, slot 48 is triggered by note number 48 in the MIDI keyboard (c2). The samples menu is divided into 14 categories, including a wide range of drum-kit components types. Each type button (kicks, snares, claps, etc.) is directing to it’s own sample library folder which located at “C:UsersyournameDocumentsFananteamYumbuUSER”. Each sample slot has also a room for user’s imported samples which can be added manually to the “user” folder. Yumbu 2 comes with 30 full drum-kits to start with.
Yumbu 2 has a built-in mixer that allows you to tweak any sample separately. You can use the EQ, change the pitch, add a random pitch manipulation to every sample, pan and you can use our pitch based round robin effect which has a wide control ability on the final sound. The mixer is also armed with 3 master effects (compressor, reverb, delay) with a brand new unique effect called “F.R” which allows full scale frequency control over the wet signal. You can use the effect by sending a fx amount from the “master fx” knob on every channel or you can override the per cell sending and just send them directly to the master effect.
Yumbu 2 loads drumkits extremely fast, only 0.5 sec for full loading. It can set “sample start and “sample end” points with MIDI assignable knobs and it also allows you to tweak the active keyboard’s octaves starting points. Yumbu 2 uses 24 presets drumkit banks. Each preset represents a full drumkit containing all the components and settings.
Yumbu 2 is armed with brand new morphing system which can blend any 2 drum elements together (which can create tons of new fresh drum sounds). The morph system can also play with the blended element’s pitch and increase the invention of new drum sounds like never before.
Each channel in Yumbu 2 is armed with dedicated modulation effects which allow adding beautiful nuances and textures to each drum element separately. There is a yowling phaser effect, a delay and the new Zelda filter which can completely change the audio materials native character and morph it into a new interesting sound.
10 drum sample slots per kit.
14 drum element banks with full 30 drum-kits that adjusted to wide range of pop and EDM genres.
Morphing system for blending any 2 drum elements together.
Automation file manager.
4 additional WAV. pages in the element menu for user’s WAV. files.
MIDI assignable startend points manager.
Graphical MIDI keyboard with assignable keyboard starting points.
Full virtual mixer with gain knobs, master effect send knobs, pitch knobs, random pitch manager knobs, round robin and pan knobs, master compressor, delay and reverb effects armed with a unique F.R. feature.

Scalable and customizable GUI.
Dedicated modulation effects including phaser, delay and Zelda filter.
Isol8 is an advanced mix monitoring tool. It divides the frequency range into 5 bands.
These 5 bands can be soloed or muted individually. This will help you to concentrate on certain frequency ranges during the mixing and mastering process.
On top you can use ISLO8 as a flexible multi-band splitter with following complex plugin chains. The split signal can finally be mixed together.
Isol8 is originally designed to be used on the master track, but it can also be used on individual audio track busses.
5 adjustable frequency bands
Solo/mute function for each band individually
Linkwitz-Riley crossover filter design
24/48dB/Oct filter slope
Multiple filter channel modes (Stereo/Left/Right/Mid/Side)
Multiple monitor modes (Stereo/Left/Right/Mid/Side)
In-place or centered monitoring
Adjustable output level
Loudness dim function
Multi channel split
